Music For Your Soul

 

This page is where I honor the musical talents for the best bands and artists. I love all types of music, so please do no judge my tastes..if you want to add a band/artist post it on the forum, I will make an area for doing so.

 

First up...none other then L'arc~en~ciel. This all Japanese band features 4 guys. Their lead singer is HYDE and his vocals are amazing. You may have heard HYDE singing solo on thew Anime Blood + with his solo song. L'arc~en~ciel sang the opening "Ready, Steady, Go" for the anime Fullmetal Alchemist. Rating: 9/10

Next is UVERworld. This band is yet another group strait out of Japan. They rap and sing in harmony. Thier newest single Endscape recently came out.  The guy called Takuya writes and sings most of the material on the new single. They sang "Colors of the Heart" anopening for the anime Blood + and D-Techno Life for Bleach. Rating 8.5/10

Panic! At The Disco. What can I say..they are a very good punk band. I love the vocals and originality of their music. I know they are quite popular, and some say they are posers, but I do not think that should hinder anyone from liking them. It doesn't bother me I give them Rating: 9.5/10

Alright...alright...my best friend would kill me if I didn't mention Gackt. Gackt is another Japanese singer I like. He was in a movie with L'arc~en~ciel's HYDE called Moon Child. I want to see it so bad, so I will post more if this ever happens. Rating: 8/10

The Backstreet Boys. I proudly admit that the Backstreet Boys is my favorite band. I know alot of people do not like them these days, but I still do! Their latest album, Unbreakable, was just awesome. Although, I am very sad about the departure of Kevin Richardson...Rating: 10/10

 

HIM. I love HIM about as much as I do the Backstreet Boys. Ville Valo's voice is just too much to handel, his vocal talent is AWESOME. His deep voice with the bands awesome instruments is unlike any other band I have ever heard.Rating: 10/10

O-Zone!  Ever see that funny video with that fat kid singing in Romanian called the "Numa Numa"...well that song is actually by a band from Romania called O-Zone. The band is made of three guys and that "Numa Numa" song is actually called Dragonasta Din Tea. Rating: 9/10

Drake Bell. You remember, that cool guy from Nickelodeon. One the now complete series, Drake and Josh...(is there a reason it's not called Josh and Drake??) Drake's solo album is great. I saw him in concert..er from the outside because I'm poor lol...and he did well. While he was going in the concert are he waled right by me (n joke) and he smiled at me. I didn't get to meet him, sadly, but I did meet Corbin Bleu! Rating: 7/10

Utada Hikaru.Or shortened to just Utada. She's pretty awesome. As some may know she sang the opening theme for the video games Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2. Her voice is very beauutiful. Rating: 8/10

 

Jimmy Driftwood. Does Battle of New Orleans ring a bell? He is a very oldie, but he was awesome. He is deceased now, but his music has had quite the impact on me. My dad and I love to listen to him in the car :) Rating: 9/10

BoA. BoA is the one who composed the song from the anime, Inuyasha, called "Every Heart" she is Korean and sings in both English and Japanese. Rating: 7/10

Bump of Chicken...what a strange name...but they are good, I promise. They are another Japanese band that is newer. The sing a song for the One Piece movie.I still wonder where the heck they thought up a name like that hehe I sure don't wanna bump chickens *_*" Rating: 6.5/10

Linkin Park.  My good friend really seems to like their music. I think the way the incooperate the rap into the harmony is well done. In Pieces, Bleed It Out,and In The End are definately my pick out of their songs that I know. Rating: 5/10

Paramore. Ahh...I just love the song Pressure. The first time I heard it, it was in Simish on the Sims 2 for PS2. So, I wanted to hear it in English. Thank you Itunes!!! The new song crushcrushcrush is very nice too, but I haven't heard any of their songs other then this but so far they get a Rating: 7/10

Good Charlotte. Yay, for emo bands lol Okay, I am kidding. I love "I Just Wanna Live" and their style is so my style. Rating: 7/10

Greenday. Okay Daniel, don't kill me! I put up Greenday...their pretty cool, but I only know like four of their songs...and that lead singer looks pretty cool in eyeliner  Rating: 8/10

Simple Plan. I have one of their cds and I memorized all the songs. I love thier music, but I am too destracted by other better artists to listen to them lol I should pop out that ole cd.. Rating:8/10

Fallout Boy. SWEET PANDEMONIUM ...I almost forgot Fallout Boy..*smacks self* They are great..I love "Suger We're Goin' Down" too cool. Pete Wentz is what makes the band do successful...love his eyeliner too. Rating: 8/10
